Russian international striker Roman Pavlyuchenko has signed a five-year contract with Tottenham Hotspur.
The north London club have confirmed to the Stock Exchange that the 26-year-old has moved to White Hart Lane from Spartak Moscow for a fee of 17million Euros (£13.8million).
Pavlyuchenko, who has been capped 22 times by Russia, began his career with FC Dinamo Stavropol before moving to FC Rotor Volgograd in the top flight in 2000.

He switched to Spartak Moscow in 2003 and topped the goalscoring charts in Russia's Premier League in 2006 and 2007.
Pavlyuchenko arrived in England on Friday as the deal moved nearer to completion, but was not present as Spurs took on Chelsea on Sunday. Instead he linked up with Russia for their opening World Cup qualifiers.
His arrival has enabled manager Juande Ramos to strengthen his attacking options before the close of the transfer window at midnight tonight
Tottenham lost vice-captain Robbie Keane to Liverpool last month, and Dimitar Berbatov wants to leave for Manchester United, a factor which head coach Ramos feels contributed to defeats in their first two Barclays Premier League matches. However they bounced back to earn their first point of the season with a 1-1 draw at Stamford Bridge.
