Martin O'Neill is demanding Aston Villa do their proud European tradition justice this season.
Villa overcame Odense to land a place in the UEFA Cup this season and a second qualifying round tie against Iceland's Hafnarfjardar offers an excellent chance of progress for the 1982 European Cup Winners.
"We had two tough games against Odense and now we are determined to do as well as possible," said O'Neill.

With over 30,000 at last Saturday's decisive Intertoto Cup win, it appears the Villa fans are relishing the prospect of another return overseas.
"The fans showed last week they have an appetite for European football and I am sure they will back us against Hafnarfjardar," O'Neill added. "We are excited just to be in the draw first of all."
The first leg against Hafnarfjardar is due to take place at Villa Park on 14th August, with the return in Iceland a fortnight later. However, both clubs have requested a switch with UEFA. Manchester City were also drawn at home first against Danish outfit Midtjylland, representing a significant step up from their stroll against EB/Streymur.
