Bolton Wanderers goalkeeper Ali Al Habsi has confirmed he will remain at the Reebok Stadium for another season.
The 26-year-old Oman international was reported to have become disillusioned with life at the Reebok Stadium and has been linked with moves to Bayern Munich, Galatasaray and newly-promoted Hull City.
The doubts over his future with the Trotters were compounded earlier this week with the news that first-choice goalkeeper Jussi Jaaskelainen had signed a new four-year contract with the club.
But Al Habsi insists he will remain with Gary Megson's side and that he is not interested in any offers as recent reports suggested.
even better
"I still have one year left on my contract at Bolton and I will stay with the team," Al Habsi said. "I've heard that Jussi has signed a new contract but this means nothing as I'll stay with the team.
"Everything is okay now and I'm enjoying life here especially as my wife gave birth to a girl six months ago. Things were great for me at Bolton and hopefully next year will be even better."
On Wednesday, Finland number one Jaaskelainen, 33, pen to paper on a new deal to end speculation over his future.
Al Habsi was the first Omani to sign for a Premier League club when he joined Bolton in January 2006 after agreeing a pre-contact agreement in the summer of 2005.
Last season the former Lyn Oslo custodian made 10 Barclays Premier League appearances for Bolton.
