Fulham striker Diomansy Kamara will face up to six months out with ruptured knee ligaments.
The Senegal international suffered the injury during his country's recent match against Liberia on Friday.
The Cottagers confirmed the news on the club's official website: "The striker ruptured a cruciate during Senegal's recent match against Liberia and will undergo reconstructive surgery on his knee this Friday.
"The Club estimates that Diomansy will be out of action for six months."

The 27-year-old was recruited from West Bromwich Albion last summer for £6million, making 17 Barclays Premier League appearances and scoring five goals.
Meanwhile, the London club also confirmed goalkeeper Antti Niemi underwent surgery on his wrist on Saturday. He is expected to return to training in around three weeks.
