Arsenal's Cesc Fabregas was instrumental in the victory after coming off the bench for the injured David Villa on 34 minutes.

Xavi broke the deadlock in the 50th minute after converting Andres Iniesta's cross.

Spain substitute Daniel Guiza slotted in for 2-0 after a brilliant pass from Fabregas on 73 minutes.

Fabregas then set up David Silva for the third goal in the 82nd minute to seal a superb triumph. Spain will now take on Germany in Sunday's Euro 2008 final.
