Everton defender Phil Jagielka admits his first England cap has rounded off his season nicely.
The Toffees ace came on as a second-half substitute in the 3-0 win over Trinidad and Tobago on Sunday.
He has enjoyed a consistent first campaign at Goodison Park after his switch from Sheffield United and says things could hardly be better.
"The last 10 days have just been a fantastic experience," he said.
"After getting into the 'B' team last year, England was always at the back of my mind when I came here.

"I suppose you get noticed more when you play for a top five team.
"It's been a great way to end the season and it was nice to get a few minutes. It's been brilliant. All I wanted was a cap for a perfect end to the season."
Jagielka is hoping Everton can go from strength-to-strength after a fifth place finish last season.
"We know that expectations are going to grow and rightly so when you look at some of the players that we have," he said. "Hopefully we can go about fulfilling the fans' expectations by doing at least as good as we did this year."
