England manager Fabio Capello was at Wrexham's Racecourse Ground to watch two of his current squad find the target for the young Lions.

Tottenham Hotspur's Huddlestone and Arsenal's Walcott are both in the full squad for the internationals against the United States and Trinidad & Tobago.

Huddlestone opened the scoring from the penalty spot, then Walcott doubled the lead for Stuart Pearce's youngsters when his finish deflected in.

Capello also saw Manchester City keeper Joe Hart, Aston Villa striker Gabriel Agbonlahor and David Wheater of Middlesbrough play.

Pearce has backed his five players to feature under Capello when they meet up with the senior squad.

He said: "We've got a squad of 31 in the seniors and the bottom line is you might lose a couple through injury - it's a perfect opportunity with the two matches to look at one or two of them. If any of these get on the pitch they will do themselves credit."
