Liverpool's Pepe Reina has won the Barclays Golden Glove Award for the third season running.
The Madrid-born keeper, who joined Liverpool in July 2005 from Villarreal for £6million, kept 18 clean sheets in 37 appearances during the 2007/08 Barclays Premier League campaign.
Reina's closest competition came from Portsmouth's David James, who recorded 16 shut-outs in 35 Premier League appearances this season.
club record
Previous Golden Glove winners Petr Cech of Chelsea and Manchester United's Edwin van der Sar, along with Everton's Tim Howard, all followed with 14 clean sheets each.
Reina began his career with Barcelona and made his debut for the Catalan side at the age of 18, also playing against Liverpool in the 2001 UEFA Cup semi-final.
He holds the Liverpool club record for successive clean sheets since the Premier League began, surpassing David James' five matches in a row in the 1996/97 season.
