Arsenal midfielder Tomas Rosicky hopes to be back in action by August.
The Czech Republic international has been out since January and has now undergone surgery on a knee injury.
The former Borussia Dortmund ace will miss Euro 2008 but may be ready for the new season.
"I am glad that the true cause of my problems has been found and I hope that I will be fit and could start training as soon as possible," said Rosicky.

"Now it is properly fixed to restore all the functions. After the rehabilitation, the problems should be gone."
Arsenal missed Rosicky's creativity at times as they surrendered a five-point lead in the Barclays Premier League to be overtaken by eventual champions Manchester United.
