Wigan Athletic's Paul Scharner wants to sample more home atmospheres like the one at the weekend.
The Latics were beaten 2-0 in Sunday's final Barclays Premier League match against Manchester United as the Red Devils clinched the league title, but Scharner enjoyed playing in front of a full house at the JJB Stadium.
The Austrian told the club's official website: "It was an unbelievable atmosphere and I have to thank the supporters for that.
very nervous
"I am looking forward to next season, and if we can keep the stadium full then it will be a brilliant atmosphere here."
Despite losing to the eventual Barclays Premier League champions, Scharner was pleased with the performance of his side who ended the campaign in 14th.
He said: "I think we did quite well in the first half especially, it was an open game. I thought Manchester United were very nervous at the beginning and we had some chances in both halves."
