Everton chief executive Keith Wyness has stressed that the club have few worries about David Moyes' new contract.
The Toffees have been holding talks with Moyes for a number of months, with his current deal due to expire next year.
But Wyness says that talks are ongoing between chairman Bill Kenwright and Moyes.
"It is well documented the chairman and the manager are in deep discussions," Wyness said.

"There is no concern there, we are sure everything is going to be fine."
Wyness is also hopeful that there will soon be news on Everton's proposals for a new stadium.
"We are getting towards the planning situation, it is a very complex world the planning world," he added.
"We are hoping in the next few months we will have some firm decisions and have a spade in the ground very soon.
"It will be May or June before any planning decision of any consequence."
