Wigan Athletic's Kevin Kilbane is hopeful the Latics can secure Barclays Premier League safety next weekend.
Steve Bruce's men drew 0-0 with Reading last weekend, and face Aston Villa away on Saturday knowing that a victory at Villa Park will guarantee their top-flight status.
If Wigan fail to pick up the three points against Martin O'Neill's team, their fate will still be in their own hands when they play Manchester United on the last day of the season.

But Kilbane is keen for his side to pick up the necessary points before they host the league leaders.
"You are looking over your shoulder," he said. "You are seeing the other fixtures that teams have. Where they might slip up, where they might pick up points.
"But it is in our hands and that is what we have to be thankful for. We have just got to go and do our own job. Hopefully we will get the points this weekend to get us safe."
