The Czech Republic international joined the club from Lyon on loan in January after finding first-team opportunities hard to come by in France.

Baros moved to Pompey in search of regular starts, with Euro 2008 just around the corner.

But the player admits he does not know where he will be next season.

"It is still too early to know what will happen," he said.

"In January I wanted to leave Lyon because of Euro 2008 and I did not see me getting a chance in the starting line up due to the form of Karim Benzema.  What will happen at the end of the season? We will see.

"Hopefully though, everything will be resolved after the European Championships."

Baros has started several matches from the bench since his arrival in January.

He added: "The coach picks one striker for away games, so I expect it a bit.

"Otherwise, I cannot complain at all. The only thing I am lacking is a few more goals."
