The 20-year-old is also a regular for England Under-21s - managed by former City manager Stuart Pearce - but he is still picking up tips all the time.

"You can't help but learn off people around you," he told the club's official website.

"As well as Andreas Isaksson and Kasper Schmeichel, we have two young keepers in Richard Martin and Filip Mentel, plus a great goalkeeping coach in Eric Steele, so everything is positive.

"We're all learning off everyone else, I don't think Andreas would say he was the finished article and neither would Kasper either.

"We can all pick things up and help each other out, that is how it seems to work. It's a good working environment, we all egg each other on.

"I'm only young myself, I've still got so much to learn in the game and learning from people who have been in the game for a long time does help. That said, you can watch a young keeper and see something different, so I'm watching all the time and still wanting to learn."
