Bolton Wanderers keeper Jussi Jaaskelainen will miss the remainder of the season with a back problem.
The 32-year-old Finland international was absent from Wanderers' Barclays Premier League defeat by Wigan Athletic at the JJB Stadium on Sunday.
Oman goalkeeper Ali Al Habsi has taken over from Jaaskelainen and played in the 1-0 loss, and Megson also has the experienced Ian Walker at his disposal.

Megson said: "He needs six weeks of rest to try and resolve this problem, and he is going to need some form of surgery. Either way, his season is over."
It could mean Jaaskelainen has played his last match for the Trotters as the custodian is out of contract at the end of the season.
Bolton are currently third bottom in the table and meet league leaders Manchester United away on Wednesday.
