David Murphy hopes Birmingham City can build on their morale-boosting win over Tottenham Hotspur.
The 4-1 victory at St Andrews was the Blues' first victory since the turn of the year and kept them out of the Barclays Premier League relegation zone.
Now left-back Murphy, a January signing from Hibernian, says focus should turn to next Wednesday's opponents Portsmouth at Fratton Park.
"We deserved to beat Spurs," said Murphy. "We have been creating chances, unfortunately we hadn't been taking them. That's why it was good to see Mikael Forssell putting them away.

"And it was nice to be in the lead and hold it instead of fight back or go down. Personally, it was pleasing because the first three games I've played for the club had all been draws.
"It was our first win this year, so it was a big boost. Hopefully we can take it on into Portsmouth. We should be confident we can climb the table.
"But every game we go into we have got to give 100 per cent. There is no place for complacency or not giving the bare minimum of 100 per cent.
"Spurs was a great result - and it was good for our goal difference - but we have to get ourselves ready for Portsmouth now."
