King and Woodgate enhanced their chances of establishing themselves in the England side with impressive performances in Spurs' Carling Cup final win over Chelsea in front of on-looking England coach Fabio Capello.

The duo have struggled for fitness in recent seasons, but Jenas believes the pair could easily become regulars in Capello's plans.

"I cannot speak highly enough of how good our two centre-backs are.
These two can easily be England regulars," Jenas said.

"They are both world-class players. Woody has come to a new club but he has fitted in so quickly. It has been a long road for Ledders in terms of his injury problem.

"He was very emotional after the game but we all were. He has not played as many games as he would like but it's great to have him back."
