Martin O'Neill has been named the Barclays Manager of the Month and Gabriel Agbonlahor the Player of the Month.
Aston Villa recorded four consecutive wins in November, scoring 11 goals in the process and cementing their position in the upper reaches of the Barclays Premier League.
England Under-21 striker Agbonlahor claims the award for the first time, after a month which saw him win a host of plaudits and confirm his status as one of the hottest English prospects in the Barclays Premier League.
After setting up Ashley Young for the second goal in a 2-0 home success against Derby County, Agbonlahor played a crucial role in the hotly-contested Birmingham derby at St Andrews, clearing a Liam Ridgewell header off the line while the scores were level, before scoring at the other end of the pitch to seal a dramatic 2-1 victory.
fifth time
He followed this up with another goal in a comprehensive 3-0 win at Middlesbrough, before setting up a penalty as O'Neill masterminded a resounding 4-0 victory away to Blackburn Rovers.
Agbonlahor is the first Villa player to be named Barclays Player of the Month since Paul Merson scooped the award back in February 2000, under the stewardship of then Villa manager John Gregory.
This is the fifth time that Martin ONeill has won the Barclays Manager of the Month Award, and the second time as Villa manager, having previously picked up the accolade in April 2007.
The decision was made by the Barclays Awards Panel, which includes representatives from football's governing bodies, the media and fans.
