Younes Kaboul says he has no regrets about his move to Tottenham Hotspur from Auxerre.
The 21-year-old Frenchman left Auxerre for Spurs in July and has fitted in quickly in Martin Jol's side.
Despite Tottenham's poor start this season in the Barclays Premier League, Kaboul is adamant he made the right decision to move to England after he stopped enjoying his time at Auxerre.
He said: "At the end of my Auxerre stay, I admit I was not concerned anymore. I wanted to know something new. I stagnated. I was lost, absolutely not involved anymore.
difficult start
"I was upset by everything. But I didn't get mad. I waited for the end of the season, and I did everything to go where I wanted to go."
The France Under 21 captain is happy with life at White Hart Lane and believes Jol's side have turned a corner after a difficult start to the campaign.
"I believe we are on the right path with Tottenham now," he said. "It starts to work fine. We improve. One thing is for sure, I don't regret my choice.
"I have fun. I have found what I was looking for."
