Middlesbrough striker Jeremie Aliadiere believes he and his team-mates will start scoring soon.
The Frenchman has failed to find the net since joining from Arsenal in the summer, while Boro have scored just three goals in their last five matches.
Aliadiere is currently out injured but may return for the match against Manchester United on 27th October.
"We have created a lot of chances this season, so that is very positive," said Aliadiere. "The manager says we must continue to believe in our football, and if we do that, we will score goals.
our target
"Whatever teams we play against, we have created a lot of chances, but we have not always taken them.
"When you look at the league table, we know we need to put the chances in the goal to win games and get confidence for the team. That is our target. We need to score as many goals as possible."
Boro, who are 15th in the Barclays Premier League, host Chelsea on Saturday.
