Charitable Fulham did their bit in raising the profile and money for many worthwhile charities and good causes:

  • Moritz Volz, along with BBC TV presenter and SPARKS patron Gabby Logan, raised £2,000 in a pre-match bucket collection challenge for SPARKS, the children's medical research charity. Another SPARKS and Fulham supporter Jimmy Hill joined the challenge at half time.

  • For Macmillan Cancer Support Diomansy Kamara and Hameur Bouazza served coffee at the Café at the Cottage to help promote Macmillan's 'World's biggest coffee morning' event.
  • Hameur was a busy man for Creating Chances. Along with Elliot Omozusi, he helped promote the 'Different Cultures Same Game' programme by spending the afternoon with pupils from three local primary schools and looking at the cultural diversity of the Fulham team.

  • It was appropriate that a couple of American players were at the Shooting Star Children's Hospice. Stars and Stripes stars Carlos Bocanegra and Clint Dempsey, helped the children and young people to design a football top for the Hospice team.
