Derby County's players got their hands dirty and not just in their local community - they even helped export Creating Chances:

  • Stephen Pearson helped volunteers from the Prince's Trust complete a recreation area for kids at a local National Trust property.

  • Stephen Bywater took part in a session at the Hat-Trick project which is designed to promote healthy lifestyles in line with the Government's anti-obesity agenda.

  • Lee Holmes accompanied a plane load of children to see Santa in Lapland taking part in a number of events including reindeer sleigh and husky rides, taking the children shopping at Santa's Village and visiting Santa himself.

  • Darren Moore visited a Methodist Home for the Aged in Derby. MHA aims to improve the lives of older people through love, compassion and respect. A committed Christian, Moore found himself much in demand as he took on the role of care assistant for the afternoon and undertook a number of tasks normally done by MHA staff.
