Huddersfield Town have signed Switzerland defender Florent Hadergjonaj on a season-long loan from Ingolstadt.

The 23-year-old joins the Terriers for the rest of the campaign from the 2. Bundesliga side, becoming their 11th summer signing.

He has also played in the Bundesliga, and in the Swiss Super League with previous club Young Boys of Bern.

“Florent is one of the most exciting young right-backs in Germany and is a footballer who I believe will fit our system and style of play very well," Huddersfield head coach David Wagner told htafc.com.

Hadergjonaj will hope to make his Premier League debut when the Terriers, who won their two opening matches in the competition, host Southampton on Saturday.
