Six players were shortlisted for August 2021's EA SPORTS Player of the Month award.

Fans voted for their favourite player through the EA SPORTS website, with a deadline of 12:00 BST on Monday 6 September.

The votes are being combined with those of a panel of football experts to decide the winner, who will be announced later this week.

Marcos Alonso (CHE)

The wing-back scored Chelsea's first goal of the season with a magnificent free-kick in a 3-0 win over Crystal Palace. He also played a key role in a 2-0 success at Arsenal and a 1-1 draw at Liverpool.

Michail Antonio (WHU)

West Ham United's forward had an unrivalled seven goal involvements in August. He scored four, including a double against Leicester City, as he became the club's all-time top Premier League goalscorer with 50 goals.

Said Benrahma (WHU)

The Algerian playmaker produced a goal and an assist in both of his first two matches, starring in West Ham’s victories over Newcastle United and Leicester before featuring in the draw with Palace.

Eric Dier (TOT)

Dier's dominant displays at centre-back for Tottenham Hotspur helped them beat Manchester City, Wolverhampton Wanderers and Watford without conceding a goal to finish the month top of the table.

Demarai Gray (EVE)

The 25-year-old has made an instant impact for Everton, netting in a 2-2 draw at Leeds United before he opened the scoring in a 2-0 win at Brighton & Hove Albion as the Toffees made an unbeaten start to 2021/22.

Mason Greenwood (MUN)

Manchester United's 19-year-old became the second teenager to start a Premier League season with goals in three successive matches, including the equaliser at Southampton and the winner at Wolves.
