Playing Fantasy Premier League must seem straightforward to SasaOfficialFPL.

Having only registered an FPL squad the day prior to Tuesday’s 6.45pm GMT deadline, Sasa clinched top spot in the Gameweek.

FPL Gameweek 16 Manager of the Week

A member of the Arsenal supporters' league, the Egyptian overlooked his beloved team and turned to Tottenham Hotspur's Christian Eriksen (£8.5m) and Hugo Lloris (£5.5m), who provided a combined 27 points at home to Hull City.

Handing the armband to West Bromwich Albion’s Chris Brunt (£5.0m) earned Sasa 20 captaincy points, with Salomon Rondon (£6.5m) chipping in with 17 points thanks to a hat-trick at home to Swansea City.

His faith in Manchester United's Paul Pogba (£8.2m) and Zlatan Ibrahimovic (£11.2m) was rewarded with a combined 23 points after each supplied a goal and an assist at Crystal Palace

Sasa ignored the popular Diego Costa (£10.9m) and Eden Hazard (£10.5m) and invested in Chelsea defenders Marcos Alonso (£6.3m) and Gary Cahill (£6.3m), who delivered seven points apiece in a 1-0 win at Sunderland.

Once more, the Bench Boost chip proved crucial for the weekly winner.

Sasa's substitutes, Adam Lallana (£7.2m) and Divock Origi (£6.8m), produced 19 and 11 points respectively in Liverpool’s 3-0 win at Middlesbrough

With Stoke City goalkeeper Lee Grant (£4.2m) also delivering 10 points off the bench in a goalless draw with Southampton, Sasa claimed the prize.

As manager of the week, Sasa wins a copy of FIFA 17, a Nike Ordem 4 match ball and an FPL mug, all packaged in an FPL rucksack.
