Each week Premier League Primary Stars helps families keep children educated and entertained with the Friday Family Challenge.

This week, we want you to support our #GetInTouch campaign by writing a letter to an older relative, friend or neighbour who is isolated during the lockdown.

Television presenter Dan Walker is backing the challenge and explains in the video above how you can get involved.

To help you get started with your letter writing, we have created free downloadable templates for you to use.

See: Primary Stars Connecting Generations templates

There are lots of ideas on what you may want to write about in your letter: your favourite football memories; how your family are doing; what you've been up to at home.

If you cannot print these resources, don't worry. Simply grab some paper and a pen and get writing.

Please ensure that if you are posting a letter in a postbox or through a neighbour's letterbox, you keep a safe distance and follow the current Government guidance.

Make a call

If you cannot go outside to do this, why not call the person to whom you have written the letter and read it out loud to them?

Sharing a story will help to make a positive difference, for them and for you.

We want supporters to share a photo of their letters, or a video of their phone conversations with an older person, on social media via @premierleague using #GetInTouch.
