Man City v AFC Bournemouth

Manchester City will likely be without David Silva for the visit of AFC Bournemouth, with Pep Guardiola considering handing a Premier League debut to Ilkay Gundogan

"I don’t think it’s a big, big problem but it happened two days ago so I don’t think he’ll be able to play," Guardiola said of Silva,.

The City head coach added a decision would be made on Gundogan on the day of the match after the summer signing from Borussia Dortmund impressed in midweek UEFA Champions League action.

Vincent Kompany is closing in on a return for City but will not be risked.

Eddie Howe was pleased with Jack Wilshere's debut for AFC Bournemouth in Matchweek 4 but is keen to avoid rushing the midfielder into his starting XI.

"We’re thinking of the long term, we want him to play a lot of games for us this season," the Cherries manager told afcb.co.uk
