Late Carroll header sinks Blackburn

  • 10th April 2012: Rodriguez doubles the lead three minutes later when he pounces on a loose ball to volley home Liverpool's second.
  • 10th April 2012: Liverpool keeper Alexander Doni is sent off after bringing down Junior Hoilett but substitute stopper Brad Jones saves Yakubu's penalty.
  • 10th April 2012: Yakubu does get on the scoresheet just before the break, cropping up unmarked in the box to head home from eight yards out.
  • 10th April 2012: Blackburn draw level with 29 minutes to go, Yakubu converting a penalty after he is bundled over in the box by Jones.
  • 10th April 2012: But it is Liverpool who have the final word, Andy Carroll scoring with a thumping header in injury time to give his side their first League win in five.
