Barclays Photographer of the 20 Seasons

Barclays Photographer of the 20 Seasons

  • Mark Leech has won the Barclays Photographer of the 20 Seasons Award as part of the 20th anniversary celebrations of the Premier League. This one from his portfolio is the legendary Brian Clough bowing out of football in May 1993.
  • "Being chosen as the Barclays Photographer of the 20 Seasons is the proudest moment of my career," said Leech. This one sees Charlton's Hermann Hreidarsson jubilantly celebrating a goal with his team-mates.
  • "It has been a huge privilege to cover all 20 seasons of the most exciting league in the world; from the Brian Clough era to the final day of last season," added Leech. Here, Tottenham's David Ginola majestically takes to the skies.
  • Man Utd's Carlos Tevez beats Chelsea's Petr Cech to the ball. Leech: "I've been fortunate to witness some of the most memorable moments over the 20 years."
  • Arsenal's Ian Wright competes for the ball with Blackburn's Tim Flowers. "I'm very grateful for the continued support that Barclays shows for sports photographers like myself," says 20 Seasons Awards winner Mark Leech.
