A fine team display from Sunderland helped Dong-won Ji secure a famous win late on

Sunderland 1-0 Man City

Dong-won Ji hit the winner deep into injury time as Sunderland stunned Barclays Premier League leaders Manchester City.

Ji received the ball from Stephane Sessegnon and neatly sidestepped City keeper Joe Hart before slotting in as Roberto Mancini's men were beaten in the Barclays Premier League for just the second time this season.

The visitors had plenty of chances and hit the bar twice through Edin Dzeko's drive and Micah Richards header in the closing minutes.

Sunderland had an early chance as Nicklas Bendtner was denied by Hart when clean through and Sessegnon neatly jinked into the box, before sending his shot wide.

But as the match seemed set for a draw, Ji made his late intervention to spark wild celebrations among the home fans.
