Newcastle United have made their fourth signing of this summer's transfer window with the capture of attacking midfielder Remy Cabella.
The 24-year-old has signed a six-year contract after completing his move from Ligue 1 side Montpellier for an undisclosed fee.
"It is great to finally be a Newcastle player," Cabella told www.nufc.co.uk. "This is a move that I really wanted to make, as I have heard nothing but good things about Newcastle United from everyone I spoke to.
"I wanted to join a great English club and that is why I have arrived here. I'm looking forward to pulling on the shirt and playing in this magnificent stadium, and I will give this club my maximum."
"He is a player who I am sure will excite our fans"

Cabella came through the youth ranks at Montpellier and, after a loan spell at Arles Avignon, made his Montpellier debut in August 2011.
He soon became a key member of the Montpellier first team and, playing alongside Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud, Cabella helped his side win the Ligue 1 title in 2012.
Last season Cabella made 37 Ligue 1 appearances, scoring 14 goals, and this summer was named as Franck Ribery's replacement in the French squad for the 2014 FIFA World Cup.
"Remy is a player who has been on our radar for a while and we are delighted to bring him to the club," said Newcastle United manager Alan Pardew. "He is a player who I am sure will excite our fans. He has flair, hard work and commitment, and is going to bring a talent, energy and quality to St. James' Park that our supporters will enjoy.
"Remy has great ideas when the ball comes to him, and along with Siem de Jong is going to improve an area where we definitely needed some help."
The Magpies open their 2014/15 campaign at home to Barclays Premier League champions Manchester City on Sunday, 17 August.
