Arsenal have continued to strengthen their squad ahead of the 2014/15 Barclays Premier League campaign after completing the signing of Calum Chambers from Southampton.
The versatile 19-year-old, who can play at full-back, central defence and in midfield, has signed a long-term contract after completing his move for an undisclosed fee.
"I am so happy to be signing for Arsenal," Chambers told www.arsenal.com. "They are a team I have much admired for their playing style, and a team who have been one of the top sides in Europe for many years.

"I'm looking forward to joining up with my new team-mates today and beginning preparation for the season ahead.
"I would like to take this opportunity to say thank you to everyone at Southampton FC for everything they have done for me and for making this move possible."
Chambers has come through the Southampton Academy, having joined the club as a seven-year-old.
He made his first-team debut in the Capital One Cup victory over Stevenage Borough in August 2012 while last season was his breakthrough year as he made 22 Barclays Premier League appearances.
"We are very pleased that Calum has agreed to join us," added Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger. "The way he adapted to the Premier League last season with Southampton at a young age shows that he has tremendous quality.
"He has a lot of the attributes that we look for in a young player and I am sure that he will do well with us."
Chambers could make his first appearance for his new club at the Emirates Cup 2014, which takes place at Emirates Stadium next weekend. To view all of Arsenal's pre-season fixtures, click here >>
