After Sunday's fixtures in the fifth Matchweek of the Barclays Premier League season, here are some unusual statistics thrown up by the matches.
Jon Obi Mikel's first Barclays Premier League goal after 185 matches shone the spotlight on veteran outfield players who have yet to score in the competition.
Mikel was eighth on the list of outfield players who had gone without a goal. That list is headed by Kenny Cunningham, the former Wimbledon and Birmginham City defender, who went 335 matches without troubling the scorers.
Of active players Everton's Hibbert is clearly in the lead, having played 259 matches without a goal. The next active player is Stoke City's Andy Wilkinson on 118 matches.
Of outfield players who are not defenders, Aaron Mokoena, who played for Tottenham Hotspur and Portsmouth, now leads the charts after Mikel's goal with 124 goalless matches. Of those still active in the Barclays Premier League Swansea City's Leon Britton is ahead with 72 matches, with Aston Villa's Fabian Delph next on 55.
