Sunderland have completed the signing of Swedish winger David Moberg Karlsson from IFK Goteborg.
The 19-year-old, who can play up front as well as on the flank, has signed a four-year contract on Wearside and moves to the Stadium of Light for an undisclosed fee.
Moberg Karlsson began his career with IFK Mariestad before joining Goteborg in 2010, making his senior debut for the Allsvenskan club as a 17-year-old. He made 28 appearances for Goteborg in all, including 10 during the current campaign.
The forward has made 11 appearances for Sweden Under-19s, scoring five goals, and was in action for his country against France earlier this month. He played alongside former Black Cat Tobias Hysen with Goteborg and won the Swedish Cup last month, appearing as a substitute against Djurgardens IF in the final.
Moberg Karlsson becomes Sunderland manager Paolo Di Canio's fourth summer signing following the arrivals of Valentin Roberge from Maritimo, Cabral from Basel and Modibo Diakite from Lazio and could make his debut on 24 July when the Black Cats face Tottenham Hotspur at the Barclays Asia Trophy in Hong Kong.
There are tickets still available for that match, as well as Manchester City v South China, the same day. Click here for more information.
Sunderland are at home to Fulham on the opening weekend of the 2013/14 Barclays Premier League season.
