The 2011-12 Barclays Premier League champions, who played the Gunners in China as part of their pre-season tour of Asia last summer, will take on the north London side in Helsinki on 10 August.

The 'Super Match by Carlsberg', which will kick-off at 5pm local time at the 40,000-capacity Olympic Stadium, will be the first time two Premier League sides have met in Finland and will represent the final game of both clubs' pre-season schedules.

"This is the perfect way to end our pre-season preparations before the 2013/14 campaign begins," Man City's chief executive officer Ferran Soriano told the club's website. "We know Arsenal will provide our team with a very competitive match and we are looking forward to what should be a memorable occasion to close a pre-season tour that also sees us visit South Africa, Hong Kong and Germany.

"Helsinki is a fantastic city and we are excited about playing in front of our many Finnish City supporters in a country where we know there is such passion for English football."

City's pre-season also takes them to Hong Kong, where they will take part in the Barclays Asia Trophy tournament, with tickets still available for the opening day of the event, while Arsene Wenger's charges will travel to Finland after completing their own Asia Tour, in which they will play friendly matches in Indonesia, Vietnam and Japan from mid-July.

"We played Manchester City in the build-up to the 2012/13 season in the Bird’s Nest Stadium in Beijing and know that they will provide the team with a very competitive match as we finalise preparations for the 2013/14 domestic campaign," Arsenal chief executive Ivan Gazidis told the club's website. "We have many passionate supporters in Finland, and it will be a wonderful opportunity to connect with them all in what will be our first-ever match in the country."

Tickets for the match will go on sale from Monday 10 June. Overseas supporters can purchase tickets priced from 29 Euros to 139 Euros via Arsenal supporters based in the UK will be able to purchase tickets through
