Swansea City have signed their third Spaniard of the summer with the arrival of Real Betis attacking midfielder Alejandro Pozuelo on a three-year deal.

"Since I’ve been a little boy it has been my dream to play in the Premier League"

The 21-year-old’s contract with the La Liga club expired, but the Swans have agreed an undisclosed fee with Real and he joins which means he joins his former Betis team-mate Jose Canas and Espanyol defender Jordi Amat at the club.

“I am very happy to have joined Swansea City,” Pozuelo told the Swansea website. “Since I’ve been a little boy it has been my dream to play in the Premier League

“From the moment I heard of the interest from Swansea I have watched their games and followed the news at the club. The style of the team suits me, and so too does the style of the manager. Of course, there are a lot of Spanish players here including my old Betis team-mate Jose Canas, and that will help me to settle quickly.”

Pozuelo will join his team-mates in flying to the Netherlands tomorrow for a ten-day tour, which includes matches against Gravenzande, Excelsior Maassluis, NAC Breda and ADO Den Haag.

Swansea have also announced the signing of two teenagers. Gregor Zabret, a 17-year-old Slovenian goalkeeper has joined on a two-year deal from NK Domzale, while Alex Gogic, a 19-year-old midfielder has signed a one-year contract from Olympiakos. Both join after having trials at the club last season. The club have also confirmed that Kyle Bartley, the 22-year-old central defender, has joined Birmingham City on loan for the season.
