Sunderland AFC have made their third signing of the January transfer window with the capture of goalkeeper Oscar Ustari.

The 27-year-old, who has won two caps for Argentina and featured at the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing, has signed a deal that will keep him at the club until the end of the season.

He joins defenders Marcos Alonso and Santiago Vergini in joining Gus Poyet’s Black Cats this month.

Ustari began his career with Argentinian side Independiente before moving to Getafe, in Spain, in 2007, where he spent five years. He moved to Boca Juniors in 2012 before returning to Spain with Almeria at the start of the 2013/14 season.
