The third Matchweek of the new Barclays Premier League season brings Manchester City into focus as they aim to bounce back from a shock defeat at Cardiff City with a home encounter against another newly promoted side, Hull City in Saturday's lunchtime kick-off.

On Sunday, meanwhile, two fascinating footballing narratives will unfold on Merseyside and North London with Liverpool hosting Manchester United at 1.30pm and Tottenham Hotspur making the short trip to Arsenal later in the afternoon.
