Jose Enrique top of FIFA 13 pile

Liverpool defender beats other Barclays Premier League stars in tournament for new game

  • Jose Enrique beat a host of stars to win the FIFA 13 trophy

Liverpool defender Jose Enrique beat 15 big names in sport and entertainment to be crowned the first winner of the FIFA 13 Celebrity Cup as Barclays Premier League stars, chart-topping musicians and Olympians battled it out to celebrate the launch of EA SPORTS™ FIFA 13 .

The Spaniard beat Manchester City goalkeeper Joe Hart, Manchester United defender Phil Jones and Norwich City’s Elliot Bennett to win the trophy, not conceding a goal throughout the tournament and defeated Josh Franceschi, of the music band You Me At Six, 1-0 in the final.

Semi-Finals: Rutherford 1-3 Franceschi; Bennett 0-1 Enrique.

Final: Enrique 1-0 Franceschi.
