NTV-PLUS acquires Premier League rights deal in Russia

Three-year deal for audio visual broadcast rights for all 380 matches in Russia

NTV-PLUS viewers in Russia will be able to watch Reading's Pavel Pogrebnyak in action

The Premier League is pleased to announce that NTV-PLUS has been awarded the live audio visual broadcast rights for all 380 Barclays Premier League matches per season for seasons 2013/14 - 2015/16 in Russia.

Premier League Chief Executive, Richard Scudamore, said: "We are extremely pleased that NTV-PLUS has chosen to invest in our rights in Russia for seasons 2013/14 to 2015/16.

"We are confident they will broadcast all the best Barclays Premier League action in a comprehensive and innovative manner to our fans in Russia."

Alexey Kukolevskiy, General Director of NTV-PLUS, said: "We are pleased to announce that we have secured these rights on exclusive basis and that the Barclays Premier League is coming back to our sports channels.

"Starting from season 2013/2014, we will be able to offer the best of world football with the best possible coverage - four major and hugely popular European national leagues: Barclays Premier League, Bundesliga, La Liga and Serie A as well as UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League and Russian national championships!"
