Kagawa set to return to Osaka for United tour

Man Utd will take on Cerezo Osaka on 26 July as part of their summer tour

Manchester United's Shinji Kagawa will play his former team in Osaka

Manchester United have added a further pre-season match in Japan as part of their summer tour of the Asia-Pacific region.

Sir Alex Ferguson's team will play Cerezo Osaka in Nagai Stadium, Osaka on 26 July. Cerezo is the former team of United's midfielder Shinji Kagawa. This match will follow their meeting with Yokohama F. Marinos in the Nissan Stadium in Yokohama, the venue for the 2002 FIFA World Cup final, on 23 July.

The Japan leg of United's tour comes after they visit Australia, where they will play against the Australian A-League All Stars in Sydney on 20 July. After Japan, the team travel on to Hong Kong to take on Kitchee FC, on July 29, just after Manchester City, Tottenham Hotspur, Sunderland and South China take part in the Barclays Asia Trophy there between 24-27 July.

Tickets for the Osaka match will be on pre-sale from 8 February and general sale from 7 April. For more information click here.
