Dubious Goals Panel rulings (Nov-Dec 2012)

Five Barclays Premier League goals between 11 November and 12 December are ruled on

The Premier League's Dubious Goals Panel has made a decision on five dubious goals that were scored in the Barclays Premier League for the period up to and including 11 December 2012.

The Dubious Goals Committee - drawn from people who have participated as a referee, player or manager at the highest level of the game - have ruled on the following goals:

Tottenham Hotspur’s goal against Everton on 9 December 2012 has been confirmed as a Clint Dempsey goal.

Manchester United's third goal against Manchester City on 9 December 2012 has been confirmed as a Robin van Persie goal.

Liverpool's third goal against West Ham United on 9 December 2012 was in fact a Jonjo Shelvey goal and therefore has not been confirmed as an own goal.

Fulham's first goal against Newcastle United on 10 December 2012 has been confirmed as a Steve Sidwell goal.

Newcastle United's goal against Fulham on 10 December 2012 has been confirmed as a Hatem Ben Arfa goal.
