Follow the press conferences, team news and head-to-head stats ahead of the weekend's matches

A packed programme of Barclays Premier League matches is in prospect this weekend with the relegation battle and the race for next year's UEFA Champions League places high on the agenda.

Lying joint bottom of the table both Reading and Queens Park Rangers will be hoping to make the most of home advantage as they seek crucial points against Southampton and Wigan Athletic respectively. The match at the Madejski Stadium is Saturday's curtain-raiser.

At the other end of the division sixth-placed Everton can throw a spanner in the works of Tottenham Hotspur's bid to finish in the top four by doing the double over Andre Villas-Boas's side on Sunday, while Chelsea in fourth and Arsenal, in fifth, seek to make gains from their respective encounters with West Bromwich Albion and Sunderland.
