Chelsea were beaten 2-0 by Liverpool in the Carling Cup on Tuesday
Chelsea manager Andre Villas-Boas has called for the Club's fans to get behind them as they enter a crucial run of matches.
The Blues suffered a third defeat in four fixtures at home against Liverpool in the Carling Cup on Tuesday.
They are away to Newcastle in the Barclays Premier League on Saturday before crucial home matches against Valencia in the Champions League and Manchester City.
Villas-Boas said: "Away from home we've been more solid, statistically and as a team. At the moment, when we play at home we've not been good enough, we need to get our fans behind us.
"We play most of the top teams and that is our challenge for December"

"You can feel Stamford Bridge has become anxious when we play at home but we need their full support, it's the only way you can build the right atmosphere.
"We have two big games at home now where we need the fans right behind us."
The Blues boss feels his side need to rise to the challenge during a hectic month.
"The Champions League is very important situation and we will need to up the tempo and play with desire," he said.
"For our Premier League challenge to be alive we need to make the most of the December fixtures. We play most of the top teams and that is our challenge for December."
