Thomas Vermaelen heads in Arsenal's late equaliser at home against Fulham
Arsenal 1-1 Fulham
Arsenal defender Thomas Vermaelen went from villain to hero as he rescued a point for them at home against Fulham.
The Cottagers took the lead in the second half when John Arne Riise controlled a Danny Murphy cross into the Arsenal box and Gunners defender Vermaelen turned the ball into his own net.
But the Belgian made amends, heading in a superb Theo Walcott cross eight minutes from time to level matters at the Emirates.
