Stoke City 3-1 Blackburn Rovers
Stoke ended a run of four successive defeats in the Barclays Premier League with victory at the Britannia Stadium against struggling Blackburn Rovers.
The Potters took the lead in the first half when Jermaine Pennant crossed for Rory Delap to head home, and they doubled their lead after the break as Jonathan Walters teed up Glenn Whelan to drill in.
Striker Peter Crouch slid the third past Paul Robinson in the Blackburn goal before the visitors grabbed a late consolation as Ruben Rochina fired in off a post from outside the box.
