Redknapp: Spurs can win title

Tottenham boss aims high as his side extends unbeaten run to nine matches

Boss Harry Redknapp is enjoying the way his Spurs side are playing

Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp says he believes his team can win the Barclays Premier League this season.

Spurs beat Aston Villa 2-0 at White Hart Lane in Monday night's match, the perfect tonic for Redknapp who returned to the dugout after a minor heart operation earlier in the month.

Tottenham are now unbeaten in nine Barclays Premier League matches - and have won eight of them - and Redknapp said he believes his side can be title contenders.

"The title is a possibility. It's not impossible," Redknapp said. "When I came here I said I wanted to get in the Champions League.

"It's not impossible for anyone. If you keep winning matches and believe in yourself you'll do it.

"I enjoyed the way we played against Villa, I think the fans enjoyed it as well - they've seen lots of great teams over the years and they're enjoying the way this team's playing."
