Liverpool condemn the Blues to their second successive home league defeat

Glen Johnson superbly drills in Liverpool's 87th-minute winner away against Chelsea

Chelsea 1-2 Liverpool

A brilliant solo goal from Glen Johnson three minutes from time earned Liverpool all three points and condemned Chelsea to their second successive home defeat in the Barclays Premier League.

Johnson collected a pass from Charlie Adam, ran past Ashley Cole and slotted past Petr Cech to secure the Reds a hard-fought victory.

Liverpool had taken the lead in the first half when Maxi fired in after great work from Craig Bellamy, before Chelsea equalised when Daniel Sturridge converted Florent Malouda's effort.
