Chelsea midfielder Ramires has signed an extended contract that ties him to the club until 2017.
The Brazilian joined Chelsea in the summer of 2010 and made his 50th appearance for the club in the Barclays Premier League against West Brom at the weekend.
The 24-year-old has scored four League goals this season, in wins over Swansea (two), Wolves and Everton, and Ramires said he was pleased to have committed his future to the club.
"I am very happy with my new contract," he told the club's official website (chelseafc.com).
"I am very happy with the support I have playing for this club, so I want to say thank you to Chelsea."
