Pogrebnyak hat-trick inspires Fulham

Striker continues remarkable start to Fulham career in win over Wolves

Pavel Pogrebnyak put Fulham ahead in the 36th minute

Fulham 5-0 Wolverhampton Wanderers

Pavel Pogrebnyak scored a hat-trick as Fulham produced a fine attacking performance to cruise past Wolves.

The Russian forward, who has now scored five goals in his first three Barclays Premier League matches, opened the scoring with a header from a Damien Duff corner and then finished off a pass from Andy Johnson just before half-time.

He completed his hat-trick in the second half when he tapped in following a shot from Johnson that Wolves keeper Wayne Hennessey could only parry.

Clint Dempsey got Fulham's other two goals in the second half as Wolves suffered their first defeat under caretaker manager Terry Connor.
